The differences between Z series and B series motherboards under the Intel platform

1.Overclocking Support

Z series motherboards support CPU and memory overclocking, suitable for users who pursue ultimate performance and enjoy tinkering with hardware. Overclocking can enhance hardware performance.

B series motherboards generally do not support CPU overclocking, but some models may support memory overclocking.

2.Power Supply Specifications

The Z series motherboards feature powerful power supply design, capable of ensuring stable operation of high-end CPUs under high load.

The B series motherboards have moderate power supply capacity and can meet the operating requirements of mainstream CPUs. The Z series motherboards support high-end hardware, while the B series places more emphasis on balance and cost-effectiveness.

3.Expansion capabilities and price

The Z series motherboards offer more PCIe lanes, M.2 interfaces and SATA interfaces, facilitating the connection of high-performance hardware.

The B series motherboards have slightly inferior expansion capabilities compared to the Z series, but they can meet the needs of most users.
